Chem Chek, Inc. understands the necessity of having a legally defensive Random Selection Process. We have developed several consortiums dedicated for clients falling under each of DOT regulatory modes as well as non-regulated clients. Members of each consortium are tested at federally mandated requirements per annum, evenly spaced throughout the year percentages 49 CFR Part 40. Non-regulated clients may choose their random selection percentages.
Chem Chek, Inc. provides flexible and defensible random selections with detailed audit reports. We meet the most stringent DOT reporting requirements, yet are flexible and well suited for regulated and non-regulated testing. Out software programs are designed, marketed, and supported by the industry’s oldest and most trusted software provider for drug and alcohol testing software. See System Software for more information.
Selections are randomly drawn from each DOT pool when all employers’ lists have been received and the employee changes, additions and deletions are complete for all the consortium members. Several reports are generated each quarter for the random selections and provided to consortium members.
Eligible Participants List – showing all the employees, which are eligible to be selected for drug and/or alcohol testing. Selected Participants List – showing all the participants randomly selected for drug and / or alcohol testing that quarter.
Certificate of Enrollment – stating that the company is enrolled in a random selection program as well as the random selection batch number and a summary of the selection for that quarter broken down by specific company as well as for the entire random selection pool.
Random Parameters – summarizing the selection parameters for that quarter Notification Letters – for each employee selected for drug and / or alcohol testing including time of notification / time of arrival at collection site and detailed DER, MRO, Lab and TPA information.
The employee must have no prior notice of his / her selection but is required to go immediately to the test site where the test will be administered. If a Program Manager is selected, he / she will be notified by the alternate DER contact and is required to go immediately to the test site where the test will be administered.
Our team provides 24 hour consultation on processing positive Drug or Alcohol results and has a nationwide network of collectors to provide onsite after hours/post accident/reasonable suspicion testing. Prior to release all drug test results are reviewed by certified Medical Review Officers.
Each company will provide an updated list of covered employees at the beginning of each quarter (January, April, September, October). Non-regulated employees will provide their lists based on an agreed upon time by both the client and Chem Chek. This list will include each employee’s first and last name, social security or employee ID number and job description. Chem Chek, Inc. will perform the random selection from the updated lists.
Chem Chek, Inc. will provide each company with an annual summary report of all testing performed in the previous year by February of the next year. This page is under construction.
