Chem Chek keeps abreast with Federal laws applicable to DOT drug and alcohol testing procedures through training, conferences, ODAPC dispatches, and the DATIA Redbook updates. 

Prior to performing any Non DOT testing in any state, we utilize a variety of sources to reference state and local laws, which apply to drug and alcohol testing and adhere to any and all laws that apply. 

Chem Chek will assist you in all aspects of the policies and procedures that are required by any DOT and / or internal audit.  All of Chem Chek’s Consortiums are in compliance with DOT Federal and State regulations, requirements and guidelines. 

 Communication of legal and regulatory changes

Upon receiving notification of any legal issues or regulatory changes which would have an impact on our clients’ Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, Chem Chek will communicate this information within a timely manner. 

 Educational resources pertaining to legal issues:

Chem Chek receives newsletters, emails and dispatches regarding legal issues affecting the drug testing industry. Additionally, staff members attend topics at conferences relating to legal issues in the drug testing industry.

 Chem Chek will assist in the developing of a customized DOT and Non-DOT anti-drug and alcohol plan in accordance with DOT and state mandated regulations, requirements and guideline. A sound and solid policy can provide additional liability and protection by ensuring the company’s policy and operation match.  

Chem Chek will also provide assistance, review and updates of a client’s current and existing policy.  

 Chem Chek provides mobile kits for FMCSA drivers to keep readily available in their vehicles for randoms and post accident testing.  Kits include The Drivers Handbook, CCF and ATFS with preprinted client and DER information as well as instructions if necessary.
