Our Services
CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL COLLECTORS AND BATs All of Chem Chek, Inc.'s collectors are certified through the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) as Certified Professional Collectors (CPCs). Most are trained to the next higher level as Certified Professional Collector Trainers (CPCTs) and one of our employees has been recognized by DATIA as a Regional Certified Professional Collector Trainer (RCPCT) capable of providing DATIA collector training in North, East Texas. All of our collectors are also certified according to Department of Transportation mandate as Breath Alcohol Technicians (BATs). Three of our BATs are certified as BAT trainers. REGULATED AND NON-REGULATED DRUG SCREEN COLLECTIONS Chem Chek, Inc. provides both DOT regulated and corporate non-regulated drug screen collections. Our collectors are extensively trained to meticulously follow all federal guidelines for drug screen collections in order to provide our clients with the most reliable and defensible collections possible. REGULATED AND NON-REGULATED BREATH ALCOHOL TESTING Chem Chek, Inc. provides full service breath alcohol testing. We only use instruments listed on the Department of Transportation Conforming Products List that are approved for screening and confirmation testing. We utilize the CMI Intoxilyzer 200 or the Intoximeter Alco-Sensor IV with the RBT IV for breath alcohol testing. Chem Chek, Inc. collectors routinely travel throughout the state of Texas, into Louisiana, southern Oklahoma, and Arkansas to provide our clients with professional on-site collection and BAT services. We also have collectors across the United States in California, Washington, Maryland, and Kansas. In addition we have a large network of contractor collectors for other areas. All our contractor collectors are carefully screened to fulfill Chem Chek's professional standards. We will be happy to provide you with collectors in any area or to help you find established collection sites or clinics close to your work locations. DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY ADMINISTRATION Chem Chek, Inc. has many years of experience in DOT and corporate
substance abuse administration. Our staff has successfully completed
DATIA's Consortium/TPA (Third Party Administrator) Management course.
We can provide our clients with everything from assistance in establishing
a substance abuse policy, record keeping and reporting random selection
services to full third party administrative duties. MEDICAL REVIEW OFFICER SERVICES Chem Chek, Inc. has two Medical Review Officers (MRO) certified by either the American Association of Medical Review Officers or the Medical Review Officer Certification Council. One of our MROs, Dr. Neal Sklaver, is also a certified flight surgeon. He can provide special attention to any clients involved in the Federal Aviation Administration. Dr. Daniel Drew makes extensive use of the LOTUS NOTES reporting system for added security in the transmission of test results. Chem Chek is proud to offer various training services to clinics, collectors and our clients. We offer a two hour supervisor training program on signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol use which fulfills the DOT requirements for Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Federal Aviation Administration supervisor training rules. We offer drug screen collector initial training, refresher training and error correction training that meets the new DOT guidelines. Chem Chek also provides initial, refesher and error correction training for Breath Alcohol Technicians that conforms to the DOT model course. Chem Chek, Inc. offers alternative testing services in the form of hair testing and "instant test" kits. We also offer confidential testing to individuals for personal reasons. |
